European Union Horizon 2020 bid
13 November 2015
HCRI staff Professor Oliver Richmond, Dr Sandra Pogodda, and Professor Roger Mac Ginty have been successful in a European Union Horizon 2020 bid.
Their research project is part of a consortium led by NUPI (the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs) and looks at how EU conflict and crisis response mechanisms can be made more conflict sensitive. The project lasts 36 months and will examine on-going crises in Ukraine, Libya, Afghanistan, Chad and Syria. The Manchester team will mainly focus on constructing the conceptual and analytical frameworks to enable cross-case comparison. The Manchester share of the project is worth €466 000.
